This is a relaxed, come-as-you-are gathering that spans generations. Here you’ll find children, youth, adults, and seniors all learning from one another. We share stories, laugh together, play interactive games, talk honestly about real-life challenges, celebrate each other’s successes, and pray together. Learning happens naturally, in a fun and casual way, grounded in faith and community.
A shared pot-luck meal is at the heart of our time together, creating space for lively conversation, connection, and belonging, before we move into games, discussion, and faith-based learning. But this program offers much more than a shared meal and some fun activities. Youth mentorship is the foundation of our Intergen Program, providing a safe space where everyone is accepted, heard, and respected.
Additional teaching and learning opportunities are also part of the program. To date, our Intergen youth and volunteer mentors have had opportunities to participate in Christian summer camps, First Aid training, hear presentations from community groups, create meaningful crafts and baking to bless and comfort seniors in our community, and so much more. Everyone has something to teach. Everyone has something to learn. Come grow with us.
