Donations and Gifts
At St. Andrew’s, giving is an act of faith, gratitude, and shared responsibility.
Through tithes, offerings, and gifts, we support the ongoing ministry of the church, care for our community, and are able to extend compassion beyond our walls through missions and outreach.
Every gift, whether large or small, helps sustain worship, programs, pastoral care, and service to others. Giving allows us to live out our calling to Seek Jesus. Love Others. Serve the World.
Whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” – 2 Corinthians 9:6
Why We Give
Giving is one way we respond to God’s generosity. It supports:
- The ministry and operations of the church
- Community programs and care initiatives
- Missions and outreach partners
- Worship, music, education, and fellowship
When we give, we participate together in God’s work — locally and globally.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7
Ways to Give
St. Andrew’s offers several ways to make offerings and donations. Please choose the option that is most convenient for you.
In-Person Offerings
Offering envelopes may be placed in one of the offering plates located at the Sanctuary entrances. If you do not have numbered offering envelopes, general offering envelopes are available at the Sanctuary entrances for your use.
If you prefer to give cash and do not require a tax receipt, you are welcome to place cash directly in the offering plates.
Pre-Authorized Giving
St. Andrew’s offers a Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR) program, which allows for regular, automatic donations. With one easy set-up, your tithes are donated automatically on the schedule you set, which makes PAR an excellent option for those with busy lifestyles.
To learn more about PAR, please contact the church office at 705-746-9612
E-Transfer
To give by e-transfer, simply use the email address: donations@standrewsps.ca
E-transfers are automatically deposited. Please include any designation information in the message field, if applicable.
Bequests & Legacy Giving
Some choose to support the future ministry of the church through a bequest, also known as a legacy gift. A bequest is a gift made through a will, allowing individuals to continue caring for others and supporting the mission of the church beyond their lifetime.
Legacy gifts help ensure that St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church can continue its work of worship, community care, outreach, and mission for generations to come. These gifts are a meaningful way to express faith, gratitude, and hope for the future.
If you are considering a bequest or would like more information, we invite you to contact the church office. Conversations are handled with care, respect, and confidentiality.

A Gift Given in Faith
We believe giving is not about obligation, but about trust, partnership and good stewardship. Thank you for the many ways you support the life and ministry of St. Andrew’s, through giving, prayer, service, and presence. Your generosity helps create a church that is welcoming, caring, and active in serving others.
All gifts are received with gratitude and used with care.
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” – Luke 6:38
